My family and I talked with Dakoda a few times but we have thought and prayed for him countless times. He was a kind man with a big heart. Love and prayers to his family. 

Rest In Paradise DJ ❤️ U were truly one of a kind and such a sweet soul. I sure hope ur grandpa Jimmy and Uncle Bart welcomed you properly lol but we all know it prolly wasn’t proper . Give my daddy a big hug for me. I’m sure u will be taken care of up there. May U Rest In Peace ❤️

I never had the chance to meet Dakoda but know some of his family members.  They are a loving and wonderful family.  From the comments it sounds like Dakoda was a loving son, grandson and a special friend to all who knew him. May you all find comfort in the memories you have of Dakoda during this difficult time.  My sincere condolences to all of you.  ❤

He truly will be missed he was a nice guy and was always making me smile Rest in Peace until we all meet again.

I've known DJ for a long time,he was one kid who should have been a stand up comic,he always made me laugh, He was like a son to me, I will miss him very much,FLY HIGH KIDDO,MUCH LOVE ALWAYS

I had the privilege to know dakoda for many many years. No matter what happened in life we always stayed in contact. Just a couple weeks ago we were in my truck jamming to music he wanted me to hear. He always texted me “good morning beautiful “ . I will never forget when he kept telling me I was important and a great friend. We would joke around and laugh at the little things .. I will forever miss u my friend. Fly high dakoda❤️ I love you!

    I had the privilege of  talking with Dakota on many occasions  about Christ and what Jesus had done for him. Dakota would call me and ask questions and share the current struggles he was facing and occasionally  ask for a ride to here and there. DJ had an amazing spirit about him that desired happiness and fun. Some of his facebook live videos were always a surprise to something he would do or say to get a laugh. Some were not funny to many,but he always got a chuckle out of them. 

   I was honored to be able to come pray with him while he was at Reid Hospital  last year.    I am sad for all that miss him but happy for Dakota that he is at peace and with the Lord Jesus. i remember first meeting Dj and him asking if i wanted to be his girlfriend and not damon’s. there was never a dull moment with this kid. he always made sure i knew i was loved in times of need, he always reminded me that we was family when i was feeling down. i remember dj damon and i singing san hunt in my car on a drive back from greenville. he was one of a kind and heaven gained a beautiful angel. may his soul rest and may his family find peace within his peace. love you all no matter what. to the moon and back.
