Brice L. Mikesell

Brice L. Mikesell, age 67 of Hollansburg, Ohio (formerly of West Union, OH) passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 2:50 PM. Born in Union City, Indiana on July 28, 1954 he was a son to Jeanette ( Stiver) Mikesell and the late Billy Mikesell. He was a graduate Westmont, class of 1972. Brice later went on to get certified as a Master Gardener at Ohio State University; and he would teach groups and classes in gardening. He also had served 20 years as a firefighter and paramedic at Liberty Township, where he had become fire chief as well. He served for the Adams County Board of MRDD and was active in his community, helping others in any way that he could. Brice loved the outdoors, and hunting and fishing. He will be truly missed. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his daughter Jenny Mikesell.

Survived by his mother Jeanette Mikesell: daughter Shawna Mikesell: brother Bruce & Gail Mikesell: sister Jodena Mikesell: nephews Bradley Mikesell; Charlie & April Raby: as well as many cousins.

Friends may call on the family on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home. Funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Joe Lemaster presiding.
