William Irvin Oliphant, 87, of Greensburg passed away on June 28, 2023. He was born on October 9, 1935 in Burney, Indiana the son of Charles and Mary Elizabeth Holt Oliphant. William was a 1953 graduate of Burney High School. He married Dorothy Wilber in 1957 and she passed away on September 11, 1963. He then married Barbara McCuistion on July 30, 1965 and she passed away on August 3, 1989. William was a member of the Eagles Lodge. He had worked at Cummins; was a car salesman; and a Bartender at Links for over 20 years.
Survivors include: Son, Mark (Brenda) Oliphant; Daughter, Julie (Gary) Anderson; Stepson, Mike (Joy) Huber; Stepdaughter, Tammy (Jim) Shannon; Sister, Karen Oliphant; and several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Wives; Son, Michael Oliphant; Stepson, James Huber; and Stepdaughter, Toni Miller.
A reception styled visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. and a celebration of his life will follow at the Eagles, 920 E Main St, Greensburg, IN 47240.
