Wanda L. (Morford) Anderson, 71, of Greensburg, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family. Wanda was born on February 20, 1944 in Greensburg, the daughter of John and Nellie Morford. She married Robert “Bob” Anderson on August 12, 1960 in Greensburg and he survives.
Other survivors include her children – Thomas (Missi) Anderson, Deborah (Lou) Caperoon, Robin Esposito, and Mark (Sandy) Anderson all of Greensburg, one sister Lucy Martin, one brother John (Evelyn) Barnes, 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters – Sylvia Jackson and Jane Corley, and two brothers Sheldon and James Morford.
Wanda was Co-Owner and Operator of Anderson Diesel Injection Service and a past member of the Greensburg Chapter of the Shrine Guild, which raised money for education for the children in the Shriner Hospital Burn Units. Her favorite hobbies were painting, stain glass and spending time with her family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, from 4PM – 8PM at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Wanda’s Funeral Service will begin on Thursday, January 21 at 11AM also at the funeral home, with Rev. Howard Wickersham officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
