Sarah Ann Rathburn

Sarah Ann Rathburn, 87, of Greensburg, passed away on December 20, 2018. She was born on February 19, 1931 in Greensburg, the daughter of Forrest and Clara Teitsort Garrett. Sarah was a 1949 graduate of Sandusky High School.

On June 18, 1950 she married James Richard Rathburn and together they had 3 children: Carol, Juanita, and Gary. Sarah was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and crafting. She was a member of the First Church of God where she also helped with the crafts for children’s church.

Survivors include: Daughters- Carol Rathburn and Juanita (Spouse- Dave, Sr.) Willard; Son- Gary (Spouse-Mary Rachael) Rathburn; Siblings- Lois Jean Johnston, Joan Williams, Norman (Spouse- Mary Lou) Garrett, and Sharon (Spouse- Jess) Null; 15 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents and Husband.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland Howe Funeral Home on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm. Rev. Terry Canfield will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Union Chapel Cemetery St. Paul, Indiana.
