Evelyn A. Myers Weber

Evelyn A. Weber, 90 of Greensburg, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. Evelyn was born on December 17, 1922 in Napoleon, the daughter of Charles and Ada Myers. Evelyn was a 1940 graduate of the Napoleon High School. On July 14, 1940 she married John L. Weber in Batesville; he preceded her in death on August 17, 2002.

Evelyn worked at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital as housekeeping supervisor for 34 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Smyrna Lutheran Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher.

Survivors include three Sons – Jerry (Linda) Weber of Osgood, and Jim (Debbie) Weber and Steve Weber of Greensburg, one Sister – Edith (Cliff) Walke of Greensburg, eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, her Husband, Grandson- Keith Weber, Granddaughter- Kim Weber, Sister- Mary Foster, and Brother- Cecil Myers.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 4PM – 8PM at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Evelyn’s funeral service will begin at 10AM on Thursday, December 12 also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Smyrna Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of Decatur County.
