Donald Wayne Kress

Donald Wayne Kress, 64, of Greensburg passed away at home, surrounded by family, on April 27, 2015. He was born on January 19, 1951 in Perry County, Indiana, the son of Leo and Josephine (Snyder) Kress. Don graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. On January 28, 1978 he married Katherine M. Navarra. Don worked in Indianapolis as an Electrical Engineer.

Survivors include: Wife- Katherine M. Kress of Greensburg; Daughters-Rita Kress of Indianapolis, Rachel (Nathan) Harter of Greensburg; Son- Daniel (Stephanie) Kress of Greensburg; Granddaughters- Maya and Sunny Kress; Mother- Josephine Kress of St. Meinrad; Sisters- Janice (Jack) Hagedorn, Therese (Tony) Volz; Brothers- Steve (Diane) Kress, David (Brenda) Kress, Mike (Jackie) Kress, Tony (Ruth) Kress, and Phillip Kress. He was preceded in death by his Father- Leo Kress and Brother- Mark Kress.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A graveside committal will be on Friday, May 1, 2015 at the South Park Cemetery at 10:00 am followed by a Celebration of Life service at the First Baptist Church, 209 W. Washington Street, Greensburg, Indiana, at 11:00 am with Reverend Cliff Bunch and Reverend David Thompson officiating. Memorial donations can be made to the First Baptist Church.
