Born on September 18, 2001 he was the son of Zachary Lane Guthrie and Kristin Kenny Guthrie. Wyatt was a junior at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, where he was studying computer science. He loved his school and chose Rhodes College because of his love for swimming. While in Memphis, Wyatt would volunteer at the Farmers Market and take food to the homeless shelter. Wyatt enjoyed being outdoors hiking and running, weight training and cooking. He cherished his time with his family, especially spending time with his siblings. Wyatt worked at a coffee shop and enjoyed making coffee.
Wyatt is survived by his mother, Kristin Guthrie; father, Zachary Guthrie; siblings, Amanda-Joi, Lauraleigh, McKay, Carter and Reade; grandparents, Tom and Sharon Kenny and Tom and Anne Guthrie; aunts, Gretchen Kenny Baldwin and husband Cliff and Ashley Guthrie McRea and husband Roy; uncle, TJ Kenny and wife Sarah; and numerous cousins, other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home, 515 N Elm Street, Greensboro, North Carolina. The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45 am prior to the service.
