Wilma Lucille Crawford, 101, died Tuesday, February 16, 2021. A private committal service will be held for the family at Centenary United Methodist Church, Columbarium. Wilma was born January 31, 1920, in Durham, North Carolina, daughter of the late Colonel Ellison and Hattie Elizabeth Lee. She and her late husband, Alonzo were members of Centenary United Methodist Church for many years, where they would volunteer their time with numerous projects. Wilma was a claims processor with Aetna Insurance for years.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crawford was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Crawford and her siblings, Robert, Clyde and Virgil Lee and Thelma. She is survived by her daughters, Alicia Jacqueline Thompson of Greensboro, Elizabeth “Libby” Hall and of Fayetteville; grandson, Anthony Russell Thompson and wife, Jennifer of Charlotte and great grandson, Connor Thompson.
