Bill is survived by his wife, Judy, their daughter, Lisa Canter (husband David) of Greensboro and their son William "Bill" Joseph (wife Beth) of Fuquay-Varina. Bill's greatest joy were his grandsons, Evan (11) Jonas (8) and Ryan (7), who will greatly miss their "Pop".
Bill was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He served in Vietnam and retired in 1992.
A graveside service for Bill will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, North Carolina 28144. For anyone attending the service, there will be a reception immediately following - please contact Lisa for details.
