William DeWitt Graham, Sr., 76, of Greensboro died Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at Blumenthal’s Jewish Rehab and Nursing Center. Mr. Graham was born January 30, 1936, in Rowan County, the son of John Gilmer and Merle Davis Graham. He graduated from Mount Ulla High School and received his BS Degree from North Carolina State University. He was retired from Flav-O-Rich Dairy where he was production manager. Mr. Graham served in the North Carolina National Guard and was a member of Jamestown Presbyterian Church.
On April 16, 1961, he was married to Alice Joanne Bame. Surviving is his wife, Joanne; two daughters, Sheryl Graham Moody, married to Gray Moody of Greensboro; Mary Ann Graham of Bristow, VA; one son, William D. Graham, Jr. of Greensboro; and one brother, John Lee Graham of Salisbury, NC.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, November 3, at 2:00 p.m. at Jamestown Presbyterian Church, conducted by Reverend John Muse and Newton Cowan.
The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Jamestown Presbyterian Church, 1804 Guilford College Rd., Jamestown, NC 27282.
