I am a little late to the party, but thought I should post on here regardless. I was also one of the lucky people to have met Scott on simhorseracing.com.  He was definitely an amazing person. He had so much passion for the things he loved.  Scott was always able to put a smile on your face. I truly miss him and know he is up in heaven looking down on all of us.  We all miss up Scott.

Rest in peace, sweet and kind boy that I remember from high school.

Heaven got a very special angel in Scott.  May you now know how much you were loved and will be missed.  The Sim won't be the same without you.

Scott touched so many people's lives, including mine, with his kindness, sense of humour, honesty, thoughtfulness, generosity, and amazing personality. He was so full of life, spirit and laughter. I know you're smiling down on us, Scott. We love you.

I had the privilege of "meeting"  Scott on simhorseracing. He was my go to guy when I had a SIM related question, and 9 times out of 10, we would just talk about life in general and he always made a point to ask me how my children were. I'm going to miss our talks, he was more of big brother to me then my own brothers are. He would open up to me and tell me things about his past and things that he wanted for the future. 
I never met him in person, but we would talk by text  or messenger. I will for sure miss him. Thank you for sharing him with us!

Underneath the jokes and wise cracks was one of the kindest, gentlest souls I have ever met. You are sorely missed, Scott and a light has gone out here on earth.

Romans 8:35;39

8:35  Who will come between us and the love of Christ? Will trouble, or pain, or cruel acts, or the need of food or of clothing, or danger, or the sword?
8:36  As it is said in the holy Writings, Because of you we are put to death every day; we are like sheep ready for destruction.
8:37  But we are able to overcome all these things and more through his love.
8:38  For I am certain that not death, or life, or angels, or rulers, or things present, or things to come, or powers,
8:39  Or things on high, or things under the earth, or anything which is made, will be able to come between us and the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Isaiah 57:1;2

57 The good people die;
many times, the righteous die before their time comes.
But nobody seems to care why, nor do they ask themselves.

that God is protecting them from the evil that will eat.

they will rest in peace when they die.

The love sown by Scott in each of the people they had, the joy of knowing him, declares me today that he was a just and pious man. and although I did not have the privilege of knowing it. the testimony of these people, declares that it was in this way

today, you are in the presence of the creator, and may Jesus pour out the peace, in every heart that suffers, your departure

Rest in the Glory of Your God and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen Halleluyah.

I also had the privilege of getting to know Scott through simhorseracing. He had such a passion for that game and made it better for all of us with. I have a feeling he improved most things he was involved with. He was such a genuine, kind and funny man he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. My condolences to his family and all who were blessed to have him in there life.

I will always remember Scott as a warm, easy going kid, sitting at the kitchen table with his brothers in New Providence, NJ. My heartfelt sympathy is with the Eiland family during this most difficult time.

I "met" Scott through the SIMhorseracing game several years ago, and a kinder, funnier person I've yet to see.  His enthusiasm for the "fake" horses and life in general were inspiring.  He was always willing to share information, lift you up a bit if you were down, and made me laugh out loud so many times with his Podcasts and emceeing. He will be sorely missed by many.
