A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3901 Forest Lawn Drive with the Reverend Kelley Groce officiating.
Bill was born August 8, 1925, in Guilford County, NC to the late William and Ruby Sadler. He proudly served his country during World War II while in the Marine Corps. After 23 years of service, Bill retired as a distribution supervisor with the United States Postal Service. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Sadler was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Bunting Sadler and his daughter, Allison Lee Sadler. He is survived by his brother, Tom Sadler of Palos Verdes, CA; sisters, Betty Wittrig of Winfield, IA, Ruby Holyfield of Los Angeles, CA, Hilda Miller of Jessup, GA; niece, Nancy Sadler Reyerse and nephew, Michael Bunting.
Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel is assisting the Sadler family with arrangements.
