Wayne Allen Taylor, 71, a resident of Pleasant Garden passed away on Friday December 22, 2023 at Moses H. Cone Hospital. He was born August 6, 1952 in Danville, VA, the son of the late Ernest and Eva Crafton Taylor.
Wayne was a graduate of Southeast Guilford High School and worked in the Pest Control Industry for a number of years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was married to Katrinka Frazier Taylor who survives of the home. Also surviving are his children, Sabrina Taylor of Hildebrand, Brandon Taylor and wife Tonya of Hildebrand, Brandi B. Reid and husband Dan’l of Coleridge, John R. Black and wife Jessie of Pleasant Garden and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday January 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conduced by the Reverend Randall Collins, Sr. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on that Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
