Virginia B. Truitt

Virginia Bolden Truitt, 82, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016. Virginia was born on January 16, 1934 in Madison, NC. She spent her career with Western Electric/ AT & T Lucent and retired after 28 ½ years of service. She was an active member of the Pioneers of America. She was a member of Clifton Roads Baptist Church, and then moved to Crosspoint when Clifton Roads closed. Virginia loved the beach and dancing. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She will be deeply missed.

Virginia is survived by her daughters; Terri Burkart of Greensboro, NC and Teresa Allred and husband Perry of Summerfield, NC; grandchildren, Madison Allred, Lindsay Burkart and Olivia Burkart and sisters-in-laws, Nancy Carter and Betty Dixon.

A service to celebrate Virginia’s life will be held Sunday; 3:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2; 00 pm till service time at the funeral home.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Blumenthal’s Nursing and Rehab Center for the care given to Virginia.
