Toni Lynn Baker SaintSing, 64, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at Moses Cone Hospital with her family by her bedside. She was born November 22, 1954, in Lexington, NC, and the daughter to the late Barbara Jean Covington Hickman.
Toni is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Joseph SaintSing.
Surviving is her sister, Bronda Coleman (Doug), nephew, Matthew, and great niece, Kennedy. Children by marriage includes Debbie Odom of Greensboro, NC; Terri Cline of Jacksonville, FL; Cathy Bartlett, deceased, Karen Larson of Juliaetta, ID; and Sharon Love of Oak Ridge, NC. There are 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was known as MiMi and loved her grand babies dearly.
Toni was self-employed as a beautician and worked out of her home, 220 Hair Designs by Toni. Later the shop was moved into a log cabin by her residence. When she was not doing hair, she was a waitress at Bonnie Kay Seafood. She was always available to assist her husband Harold with activities involving his business, SaintSing, Suits and Wells Dental Supplies.
Toni’s greatest joy was being around people and doing for her family. She loved to grow flowers, go shopping and babysit the grandchildren. She and Harold loved to camp at North Myrtle beach with her sister and brother-in-law.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 18 from 6 – 8 pm at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 W. Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC. Funeral service will be Sunday, May 19, 2 pm in the Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel with Dr. Marcus B. Putnam of Trinity Church officiating. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.
