Thomas “Tom” Steven Daye, 59, died Friday, December 18, 2020, after a long, courageous battle with Muscular Dystrophy. Born November 1, 1961 in Winston Salem, NC, to James and Barbara Daye. Tommy graduated from Scranton University in 1984, with a degree in finance where he moved to Atlanta and worked as a financial advisor and administrator. In his youth, Tom had many business ventures including delivering news papers while living in Florham Park, NJ and fishing golf balls out of ponds on the golf course and selling them back to golfers. Tom was always a friend to all. Tommy loved sports, music, and art. He especially loved making flies for fishing so he could wade in any body of water and fly fish. In his last years of life, Tom spent his days watching and sharing tips on stock trades and spending time with his loyal companion, a Maltese-Chihuahua mix, Mocha out on his sunny back patio.
Tommy is survived and will be deeply missed by his parents, James and Barbara Daye as well as his two sisters, Jane Creech and Susan Kostorowski, and husband Steve, his brother Greg Daye, and wife Lisa. Tom also had 5 nieces, Sarah, Caroline, Rebekah, Laila, and Sienna and nephew, William, as well as 2 great nephews, Landon and Easton and 1 great niece, Lilly.
