Thomas Andrew “Andy” Peeler, 53, a resident of High Point passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019 at High Point Regional Hospital. Andy was born July 30, 1965 in Richmond, VA, the son of David Calvin Peeler, Sr. and Nancy Cope Peeler. Andy’s mother preceded him in death on March 27, 2018.
Andy was a sheet metal mechanic by trade. He was known by many of his friends as Biggie, Doughboy, Porkchop, Fatboy, but the name he loved the most was being called PawPaw.
Surviving are his wife, Wendy Sue Martin Peeler of the home; daughter, Angie Martin of High Point; son, Corey Martin of Kernersville; his father, David Calvin Peeler, Sr. of High Point; sister, Debbie Peeler Barham of Greensboro; brother, David Calvin Peeler, Jr. and wife Cathy of LA; grandchildren, Chloe Ray Hodges, Rayelyn Hodges and his much loved canine companions, “Sadie Mae” and “Bubba J.”
A Service to Celebrate Andy’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by Chaplain Frank Moreno. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
