Theo Hager Crouch

Theo Hager Crouch, 89, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital. She was born on December 11, 1927 in Hiddenite, NC, the daughter of The Reverend Theodore W. and Essie Edwards Hager. She graduated from Catawba College in 1948 with a BA in Religion. She was married to Frank W. Crouch for 65 years until his death in 2014. She devoted her life to raising their family and serving at First Moravian Church in various leadership roles locally and provincially. She and Frank served Mobile Meals for over 25 years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, growing flowers, canning vegetables, and seeing birds at the feeder.

Theo was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Patricia Hundley (Frank), Mary Dillon (Rick), Frank L. Crouch (Audrey West), and Nancy Falish (Ed); grandchildren; Ann Kim (Jun), Frank Hundley III (Mary), Jennifer Creef (Mike), Amy Merino (Richard), Carl Falish (Jodie Fleming) and Stephanie Falish; nine great grandchildren who called her “Grandma the Great.”

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 2:00 pm at the First Moravian Church with burial to follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
