I'm so grateful that Susan was a part of my life. We met at work, when I was 27 and she was 40. It was the start of a lifelong friendship, and many adventures together. 

We loved to go whitewater rafting, and we took my young daughter camping, fishing, and on day hikes in the nearby mountains. We were the "Adventure Girls"!

Susan loved with her whole heart, was a loyal friend and a devoted cat mom. She was a rock hound, an angler, and an artist who could make a funky seahorse or guitar from a rusty motorcycle chain.

She loved chapstick, "purty" food, poofy hairdos, swoopy chairs, and family trips to the beach in the fall.

She spent time on a sail boat in Puget Sound, worked and lived in Juneau Alaska for a season, grew her hair down past her waist, and on road trips could identify the make of oncoming 18 wheelers just by a quick look at their grill!

Susan was an accomplished fisherwoman, and was very proud of the 7lb bonefish she caught in South FL, and her Alaskan King Salmon.

Even though she suffered loss and endured many trials, she did it all independently, with pride, dignity, grace, and the strength of a true Southern Belle.❤️

Ms. Sue was a sweet dear friend and the best neighbor a person could ask for. I will always cherish our friendship; the walks, the talks, the laughs, the cries, and the prayers! My kids and I just adored her and she will always hold a special place in our hearts!  Rest in Heaven Beautiful! I know you'll be watching out for us! Until we meet again!🌹🕊🌹
