Summer Ann Johnson

Adored daughter, precious baby sister and delightful grand-baby, Summer Ann Johnson, went to sit on Jesus’ lap on July 24, 2015. Her parents were blessed with her on May 15, 2015. A service to celebrate Summer will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 29th in the Hanes-Lineberry Chapel located at 515 North Elm Street, Greensboro NC. The Reverend John Miller will be officiating. The burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Summer had bright happy eyes and a beautiful little smile that warmed her family’s hearts like sunshine. While she was only here for a short time she has left a lifetime of cherished laughter and treasured memories. She is survived by her parents, Bobby Emanuel Johnson and Leigh Ann Splawn of Greensboro; big brother, Julian; maternal great grandmothers; Barbara Haynes of Shelby, NC and Betty Splawn of Boiling Springs, NC; grandparents, Don and Debbie Splawn of Mooresboro, NC. Survivors also include her paternal great grandmother Mary O. Johnson and numerous aunts, uncles and extended family. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jessie Emanuel and Annie Ruth Johnson and her maternal great-grandfathers, Frank Splawn and Johnny Haynes.
