Jimmy was born on July 1, 1943 in Wilmington, NC. He worked as a plumber until his retirement. He enjoyed golf, fishing and his motor cycle and spending time with his four legged friend, Mur Fi. Jimmy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be deeply missed.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Jean ; children, Todd and Paige; grandchildren, Asia, Jimmy, Wayne and Todd; mother, Jean Peterson; brother, Rodney Peterson (Lee) and sister, Sylvia Barber and two nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, 2:00 p.m. at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
