Roy Lee Huffman, 81, a resident of Greensboro, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Moses H. Cone Health Care. He was born April 28, 1941 in Greensboro, the son of Raymond Hubert and Minnie Lucille Long Huffman.
Roy was self-employed as a siding contractor before retiring.
He was married to Gladys Louise Huffman who preceded him in death in 1987. He was also preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Barbara Jean Buckmaster; two brothers, Bobby Huffman, Raymond Eugene Huffman; and two grandchildren, Joshua Williams and Sakieya Williams.
Roy is survived by four daughter, Roya Jean Huffman of Greensboro, Tina Louise Huffman of Greensboro, Tammy Lynn Hartley of Thomasville, Maria Ann Strickland Hernandez and husband Christian of Greensboro; one brother, Kenneth “Ken” Huffman of Gurley, AL; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, 1900 Vanstory St., Greensboro, NC 27403 on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
