Ronnie Clyde Holder

Ronnie Holder, 68, of Archdale, NC passed away on January 2, 2022, at Wake Forest Baptist Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2022, at Advantage Funeral Home in Greensboro. Pastor Howard Bass, Jr. will be officiating. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. January 7, immediately preceding the service.

Ronnie was born August 3, 1953, in High Point, NC to Clyde and Dorothy Holder. He graduated from Allen Jay High School. He was a professional truck driver and prided himself on an impeccable safety record. He had recently received a 40-year safe driver award. Ronnie never met a stranger. Whether you had known him forever or he just met you, he always had a ready smile and friendly conversation that left you feeling that you had known him forever. Above all, the accomplishment of which he was most proud was being a loving and wonderful father to his son, Caleb.

Surviving him are his son Caleb Holder of Thomasville, sister Wanda Dezern of Archdale. Preceding him in death was his father, Clyde Holder and mother, Dorothy Holder.
