Roger graduated from Greensboro High School. A master wood worker Roger owned and operated Harvell's Woodworking for 40 years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a member of Vandalia Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lyndia Harvell Fields.
Roger is survived by his wife, Helen Rabenhorst Harvell of the home; one daughter, Pamela Faye
Harvell Mitchell and husband Todd of Jamestown; one son, Roger Lee Harvell, Jr. of Bermuda Run; one sister, Peggy Harvell Bunting of Gerorgetown, TX; one brother, Steve Harvell and wife Vickie of Summerfield; one grandson, Sawyer Todd Mitchell and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday March 6, 2024 at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel with the Reverend J.R. Gossett officiating. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
