Richard Clarke Hendrix passed away on December 29, 2020. Born on August 31, 1951 in Greensboro, NC, he was the only child of Buck and Ann Pleasants Hendrix. After graduating from Ben L. Smith High School, he served in the United States Air Force for six years. He obtained degrees from both Guilford College and UNC School of Law. Prior to becoming an attorney, he worked in law enforcement. He will be buried at Guilford Memorial Park. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral. Survivors include his aunt, Mildred Pleasants Jones of Greensboro; uncle, Charles Pleasants of Granville County, NC; and several cousins.
