Ralph L. Teague Sr.

Ralph L. Teague, Sr., 91, formally of Greensboro, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018. Ralph was born on July 13, 1927 in Guilford County, the son of Clyde C. and Nellie McCoy Teague. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Following his military service, he returned to his career as a plumber. He received his master plumber certificate on May 31, 1948. Ralph also owned and operated Teague Plumbing in Greensboro for over 15 years. He was a member of the Plumber and Pipe Fitters Union Local 421. He was a member of Christ Wesleyan Church.

Ralph was preceded in death by his son, Ralph L. Teague Jr. in 2017. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Margaret Haynes Teague; children, Luanne Teague of Whitsett, NC, Jonathan (Jon) Teague and Cheryl Murphy of Thomasville, NC; grandchildren, Jeri Lynn Kindley (Daniel), Nathan Teague; great grandchildren, Brandon Teague, Braxton Teague and Claudia Kindley. Ralph was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 1:00 pm at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel with burial to follow with military honors at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour before the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
