Mrs. Rachel "Nannie" H. Gregory

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Lebanon Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Gregory was a lifelong member of Lebanon Baptist Church. She enjoyed working Find A Word puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester Boyd and Mary Horton Hipp, a son, Marcus Danny Gregory, and two sisters, Mildred Alberty and Grace Fuller.

Mrs. Gregory is survived by her husband of 67 years, William “Ray” Gregory, Sr., son, William R. “Buddy” Gregory, Jr. and wife, Chris, daughters, Gloria Gregory Mayo, Rebecca G. “Becky” Johnson and husband, Bill, brother, Everett Hipp all of Greensboro, brother, Tommy Hipp and wife, Joan of Kernersville, sister, Hazel Jones and husband, Max of Browns Summit, 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Palliative Care of Wesley Long Hospital, Attn: Youlond Williams, 501 N. Elam Ave., Greensboro, NC 27403.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home N. Elm St.
