Peggy Cato Day, 86, of Whitestone Masonic and Eastern Star Home, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 2pm in the Chapel at WhiteStone: A Masonic & Eastern Star Community, 700 S Holden Road Greensboro, North Carolina 27407.
Born in Belmont, NC on August 20, 1932, to the late Walter Curtis Cato and Helen Mae Nichols Cato, Peggy was of the Christian faith. She retired from the United States Government, Branch of the Air Force, as a Hospital Budget Manager. Peggy enjoyed genealogy and was constantly researching family history. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Eugene Cato.
Those left to cherish her memory include her brother E.L. “Buddy” Cato and his wife Beverly Bradley Cato; nieces; nephews; and other extended family members.
