It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our beloved mother. Peggy Wray Cooper (Britt), 80 died November 15th 2023. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and those who knew her. Peggy was born on November 4th 1943 in Dublin NC to the late Hilton and Alma Britt. She graduated from Elizabethtown High School in 1962. She moved to Greensboro NC with her late husband William C Cooper Jr. In addition to her parents and husband. She was preceded in death by her two brothers Larry Britt and Danny Britt. She is survived by her daughter Michelle Cooper and son Gary Cooper, five grandchildren Justin, Hailey, Courtney, Alicia and Heather, nine great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Robah Britt, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank the professionals at Wesley Long Hospital, Beacon Place and Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services for their support and kindness.
