Pauline Glance Slagle

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 15, 2010 at 2:30 PM at Hanes Lineberry Vanstory Chapel with burial to follow in Westminster Gardens Cemetery.

She was a member of Glenwood Friends Church and a member of the Greensboro Chapter 14 OES and Order of Amarant Regal Court #17.

Polly was born in Chester Co. South Carolina on May 29, 1925 to Robert and Sula Glance. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers; Robert Lockwood, Charles Marion and sister Evelyn Starnes.

She is survived by her daughter; Sharon Slagle Owens and grandson Logan Slagle Owens; son, Wayne Pannell Slagle, Jr. and wife Gloria, grandchildren Elenor Zandalee Slagle and Eben Wayne Slagle; son, Robert Lawrence Slagle and wife Amy, granddaughter Debra Michele Slagle, her sisters; Agnes Wood, Elsie Ward, Jeanette Johnson , Yolette Kington and husband Bobby R. Kington.

A visitation will be held at Hanes Lineberry Vanstory Chapel one hour before the service.

The family will be at the home of Robert and Amy Slagle.
