Pauline L. Harrington

Pauline was born on July 24, 1917, one of six children of Charles Edgar and Margaret Sophia Petrea Lippard. She was a member of New Bessemer Baptist Church. She loved to knit and read and took great pride in all her grandchildren. After she had raised her children, she went to High Point University and received her degree in Education and taught fifth grade in the Guilford County Schools until her retirement.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Cole Harrington. Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Francis Cole Harrington Jr. and wife Norma of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Elizabeth H. Zavitz of Davidson, C. David Harrington and wife Charlotte of Julian, NC; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and five great -great grandchildren and sister, Margaret Misenheimer of Salisbury, NC.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 9th, 10:00 a.m. at Guilford Memorial Park with Dr. Don Clement officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
