Paul A. Duval, 73, passed away on Thursday, September 11 2014 at Wesley Long Hospital. He was born on September 8, 1941 in New Bedford, MA, the son of Eugene Paul and Loretta Duval. After a successful 45 year career as a textile engineer he retired from Guilford Mills in 2005.
He was an avid golfer and always enjoyed the times he could spend at Jamestown Golf Course with his friends. Paul never met a stranger and genuinely loved people. His family was his pride and joy and he always placed them first in his life. He will be deeply missed by all.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Madeline Duval; sons, Michael Paul Duval and wife Nancy of Roanoke, VA, Christopher Matthew Duval of Lancaster, PA and daughter Suzanne Michelle Campbell and husband Chuck of Greensboro, NC and grandchildren Jacob, Madison, Spenser Duval, and Max Campbell.
A Celebration of his life will be held on Monday, September 15, 12:00 noon at Hanes Lineberry Sedgeifle Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
