Patsy Pickle Tucker

Our hearts ache with the loss of our dear, Patsy Pickle Tucker, 76 of Pleasant Garden, NC that left us on April 8, 2025. Patsy was born July 8, 1948, in Smyth County, VA , daughter of the late Walter Glenn Pickle and Helen Thomas Pickle but was raised in Greensboro, NC.She went to Sumner High School before transferring to Ben L. Smith High School where she graduated in 1966.

Patti was a guiding light and a source of endless love and laughter. She was a caring, consistent, hardworking loyal wife, mom, sister and grandmother who was always there when you needed her. Patti loved holidays, especially Christmas. She enjoyed decorating, baking, and Sunday dinners with family. The house at Christmas was decorated with perfection, especially her Charles Dickens Christmas Village that she has been collecting since she was young. Patti loved racing from the dirt tracks in the mountains to the asphalt tracks of Nascar. She loved sports period, especially the Redskins and Duke Blue Devils. Patti loved nature and had a ‘green thumb’ that could make anything grow. She always had the prettiest flowers around the house. Animals held a special place in her heart, especially dogs. As of now, Patti has 6 grand-dogs. For the last almost 32 years of her life, when you saw Patsy, you saw her husband, Jerry. They were each other’s soul mates that loved life together.

Patti will be remembered most for being the BEST wife, momma, sister, grandmother and best friend you could ask for. Patti was a believer in God and a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Father. Patsy is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, sister and many nieces and nephews. Patsy was a loving wife to Jerry Tucker for 31 years, and a devoted mother to her son Keith Forrest and daughter Michelle Tucker (Earl). Patti adored both her grandchildren, Jake and Gianna Forrest. Patsy has two sisters that she loved deeply. Glenda Ozment (Ronald) and Wanda Stevens (predeceased).

We will love and miss you so much. We know you will continue to protect us from the heavens above.

Graveside will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Guilford Memorial Park, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407.
