I can't believe one of the best people I have ever known is gone.

Pat was a key member of the Wake Forest MBA team.......a great guy......always had a kind word for all.

We all should remember that life is short......and the list of truely great human beings even shorter.

Pat......rest in peace.  To Pats family.....he will always be remembered by me as someone to count on.

Bobbie and family - I just saw the notice about Pat in the Wake Forest magazine that arrived this week.  It absolutely breaks my heart!  I will always remember spending two years with him in study group at Wake Forest.  We shared both struggles and successes as a team but Pat was always so upbeat and positive.  He was a very special person and I'm so sorry for your loss.

I found Pat to be a helpful and friendly classmate, especially in chemistry class during our sophomore year at Seneca High School in Louisville, Kentucky. I am sorry for this terrible loss, and send prayers to Bobbie and family from the Class of '73.

I am so very sorry to hear of Pat's passing, Bobbie! I live in Gboro and had no idea ex classmates were so close by.  Angela Waldrip lived in Charlotte.  And at one point Sandra Knight also lived in Gboro too! I haven't run into her in many many years.  I am so very sorry.  I am truly at a loss for words.

Bobbie, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Good memories of Pat from high school days.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences.  Pat was not just a co-worker, but a friend.  I appreciated and treasured the times we shared discussing not just work-related topics, but also family. I just heard of Pat's death. We worked together at the Ag. Division of CIBA-Geigy. I hope that anyone who knew Pat will Remember his smile and positive words-I Will!

I got to know Pat when I was job hunting years ago. His support, expertise, and empathy were wonderfully helpful during a very stressful time in my life. He was truly a kind & caring person.

Bobbie is my cousin, and we were all delighted when she brought Pat into our family. We knew from the start that he would be a wonderful husband and father. Pat brought an incredible warmth into a room just by walking in. Hiis energy, his smile, his sincere interest in everyone around him, his understanding, and compassion made it a  joy to know him. We grieve for his loss with you, Bobbie, Erin and Kyle, and thank heaven for the opportunity we had to know him. God bless you all.

Pat and I were inseparable in our youth. As time and life events went on we didn't see each other nearly as often as when we were younger. I felt the strength of that friendship no matter how much distance or time was between us...I feel that way even now. We will see each other again one day. My heart is sad today with the loss of Pat yet I am comforted in knowing that I had, and still have, the best friend in the world.
Bobbie, Erin, Kyle I am truly sorry for your loss. Please know that Pat was so proud of his family and loved you all very much, he told me so many times. My love to you all.

I knew Pat when he interacted professionally with me at the Center for Creative Leadership. Pat was the consummate professional human resources advocate. He asked good questions; cared about the people he served, and always had a smile – even when he was talking with me on the phone. Well-done Pat!

I had the good fortune to grow up with Pat's son, Kyle.  I knew them for the last 25 years.  Even as a little boy I knew what a good man he was by the way he interacted with us.  He was a tremendous father and husband.  You just knew it by how family-oriented everybody was.  Thank you for setting a wonderful example.  Bobbie, Erin, Kyle: I am grieving with you.  Please know you have my condolences.  I was blessed to know your husband and father.

I worked with Pat at Ciba-Geigy (later Ciba) for a number of years and enjoyed every moment of our work together. He was creative, fun, energetic, bright, and always willing to do his share and then some. My sincerest condolences to the family. Though I had not seen Pat in some time, I noticed today that the world has one less light in it.

  We are so saddened by the loss of such a kind and caring man.  He will be greatly missed but fondly remembered always.  Our deepest sympathies go out to each of you, Bobbie, Erin and Kyle.  Although we cannot be there at this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Pat was one of the kindest, intelligent, fascinating gentle men that I had the priviledge to know and work with at Banner Pharmacaps. I cherish a book he once gave me that encouraged me to continue writing.  He loved his wife and family so very much.  He will be missed but never forgotten.  My thoughts are with his family at this somber time.

I met Pat as I was struggling through one of my several periods of not having a job.  He taught me that I did have value and helped me define my skills.  No one had ever taken that kind of interest in me before.  He was truly a man that gave to others as Christ instructed us to.  I will miss him.

I am so sad to hear of Pat's death...as the oldest "Milliner Girl" (Sandy) who had such a crush on him in my younger days, I can say firsthand that he was such a nice, fun, guy and - so "cool..." He was the "boy next door" for all of us whenever he visited Ted and Peggy and he never seemed to tire of giving us motorcycle rides. I can only imagine that his great personality and spirit continued in adulthood. Although I have not seen him for decades, I have always remembered him fondly and I send my deepest sympathies to his family.

I have cherished memories of work related travel with Pat.  He was a proven professional as well as an excellent friend.
