Patricia Ann (Joyce) Hisamoto

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 4211 Wayne Rd., in Greensboro, NC. The family will receive friends in the church sanctuary one hour prior to the service. A reception will be held immediately following the services.

Born in Forsyth County on February 12, 1954 to Edith Mayes Joyce and the late Raymond Carrol Joyce, Patricia was of the Christian faith. She was a US Bankruptcy Court Clerk for 18 years. Patricia had a love of the great outdoors and had a passion for camping, kayaking, bicycling and gardening. She enjoyed taking Cruises and traveling to new places. Patricia also liked golfing and took every opportunity to spoil her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved taking trips to the beach and was an accomplished clogger with the Triad Country Cloggers. She was an avid reader and enjoyed designing and furnishing the interior of her home. Patricia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. To Patricia there were no stranger's, only folks she hadn't talked to yet.

Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” Hisamoto of Lexington; mother, Edith Mayes Joyce of King, NC; children, Tracy Smith (David) of Winston-Salem, NC, Sara Warfield (Reagan) of Cockeysville, MD, Matthew Hisamoto (Sarah) of Milwaukee, WI, Emily Haberern (Phil) of Charlotte, NC, and Jennifer Colquitt (Bryan) of High Point, NC; her siblings, Gary Joyce, Susan Crews and Angela Poitras; brothers-in-law, John Hisamoto (Deborah) and Gary Stephans; grandchildren, Holden Smith (Madison), Courtney Smith, Adeline Warfield, Bruce Haberern; and the newest addition, Gavin Hisamoto; great-grandchildren, Lane Smith and Grayson Hendrix; and other extended family and friends.
