Patrice Lynn Odum

Mrs. Patrice “Pat” Lynn Odum, 56, a resident of Greensboro died Saturday August 23, 2014 at Moses H. Cone Hospital after a period of declining health. Pat was born October 26, 1957 in Clarkston, NY the daughter of Harold James Brundage, Sr. and Lorna Jane Swinton Brundage. She was a former employee with the Republic Waste Company. Pat loved animals and was an avid rescuer of Pugs and Pit Bulls. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Surviving are her husband, William Ernest Odum of the home; two daughters, Michelle D. Barfield and husband Matthew of Asheboro, Kelly L. Dunn and husband Jeremy of Troy; one step-daughter, Mary O. Cunliffe and husband Aaron of TN; three step-sons, William E. Odum, II and wife Jessica, Clayton Odum and Andy Odum all of Greensboro; her father, Harold James Brundage, Sr. of Asheboro; one brother, Harold James “Jim” Brundage, Jr of Asheboro; four grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service for Pat will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by Pastor Timothy Poindexter. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until service time.
