Nora Nicole Hill, 20, a resident of High Point passed away on Friday February 10, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital. Nora was born September 15, 1996 in Greensboro, the daughter of Jeffrey Kyle and Kelly Ann Bunton Hill.
Nora was preceded in death by her maternal grandparent, Nora Geraldine Bunton.
Nora was a member of the graduating class of 2014 of Eastern Alamance High School and was a student and resident at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro studying Human Development and Family Studies. She worked at the Regal Palladium Theater in High Point. She was an accomplished dancer, photographer, and artist. She could find beauty in anything, especially with her camera. She loved children and was truly happy when working with young children. She volunteered to help with several vacation bible schools, worked in afterschool care in a dance studio, and was a student teacher assistant for a kindergarten class during her senior year of high school. She had an innate sense of communication with very young children and could always make them smile with her smiling face and unconditional love. She was a champion of the underdog, and vigorously campaigned and petitioned for equal rights for all, especially women and victims. She also loved the beach and the Bahamas, if there was sand and water present, she was at home and happy. Nora’s favorite phrase was “Dream without fear, love without limits”, and this is how she lived her life.
She is survived by her mother and father, Jeffrey and Kelly Hill of the home; her brother, Joshua Hill of the home; her paternal grandparents, Wayne and Gail Hill of Greensboro; Aunt Kathey and husband James NG of Mebane, Uncle Rob Hill and wife Leah of High Point, Uncle Kreg Hill of Greensboro, Great Uncle Randy Ledbetter and wife Joyce of Raleigh, and cousins, Rachel NG of Mebane, Calvin NG of Mebane, Aaron Hill of High Point, Peyton Hill of High Point, Alyssa Hill of Julian, Rebecca Ledbetter of Atlanta, Ga, and Hope Ledbetter of Durham.
