Mrs. Honeycutt was born January 23, 1944 in the Eastern Samar, Philippines to Ramon Abong and Carmen Cabos.
She had been employed for fifteen years with HERAC Inc. as vice president of operations. She and her husband worked together for twenty four years in private business working with agro-chemical companies researching the effects of chemicals on farmers and the environment. The work led them across the country being on the road sometimes for months. Mrs. Honeycutt was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are her husband Richard C. Honeycutt of the residence. Also surviving are two children and five grandchildren and one great grandchild and two step-children.
Private funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 24th at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel with Father Brian Cooke officiating. Interment will follow the service in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. The family invites friends and family to a reception to celebrate her life beginning at 2:00 p.m Monday at the family residence.
