Mary Lou Zimmerman, age 90, of Reidsville, North Carolina passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024. She was born February 1, 1934 in Marion County, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Homer Brooks Barry, Sr. and Sarah Vivian Layman Barry.
Mary Lou worked with the Kaiser Roth Textiles for 25 years before retiring.
She was married to David Lee Springer for 45 years who preceded her in death. She later married Jack David Zimmerman who also preceded her her death. Mary Lou was also preceded in death by a daughter, Beverely Dianne Hammond and a son, Kevin Michael Springer.
Left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Valerie Lynne Patterson and husband Julian; granddaughters, Sarah Hammond, Shannon Watts; great granddaughter, Natalie Smithey and several step grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday October 16, 2024 at the Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.
