Martha Anne Harris, age 95, of Greensboro, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024. She was born in Pittsylvania County, Virginia on December 12, 1928, daughter of the late John and Sissie McCubbins. She was the Loving wife of her husband Nathan Harris for 73 years.
Martha enjoyed working as a clerk in many different Drugstores over the years, going to the mountains with her family and being “Nanu” to her two granddaughters. Martha was a longtime member of Hunter Hills Baptist Church and later on attended Guilford Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing in the choir and working in the nursery.
She is survived by her husband, Nathan Harris, sister Deane M. Brumfield of Richmond, VA, daughter Rhonda Burks (Barre), and two granddaughters: Caitlin Burks (Andrew Stahr) and Annadora Burks.
A Private Family Graveside service will be held. Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel is honored to serve the Harris Family.
