Mark Dale Infield of High Point NC went to be with Jesus July 2, 2021. He was born December 6, 1949 in Wooster, Ohio to Lloyd D. and Gwendolyn E. Infield, both now deceased as well as his step mother, Jean M. Infield. He leaves his wife, Molly, siblings Christine Infield Rolfe of Jacksonville Florida, Bruce Blakemore (Pam), of Canton Ohio and Sue Berger of Bradenton, Florida. He is also survived by children Lucas D. Infield, Walkertown NC, Lydia J. Baldwin (Wade) of High Point, and Lincoln R. Infield (Maggie) of Thomasville NC, grand girls Gwendolyn Althea, Zoe Elizabeth, and Emmeline Mae. As well as two aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Mark grew up in Canton Ohio graduating from Glenwood High School in 1967. He married Molly Mathis of Canton on August 2, 1968, The couple moved to Sarasota Florida for several years before relocating to North Carolina in 1976. He then graduated from Breadloaf Bible College in Burlington NC, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies. He operated a carpentry and home repairs business that supported the family for 25 years after moving to High Point in 1981.
He returned to his love of motorcycling and established Full Throttle, A Magazine For Motorcycle Enthusiasts in 1998. With the help of Molly and Lincoln and the support of Lucas and Lydia this ‘Full House’ is thriving and will continue into the future.
Mark was a member of High Point Elks Lodge, a Commissioner and founding member of High Point Little League in the early 90’s, a member of the Concerned Bikers Association, ABATE of SC, the NRA, the American Motorcyclist Association, Motorcycle Riders Organization, the Antique Motorcycle Club of America and was a Lifetime Donor of Dale’s Wheels Through Time Museum in Maggie Valley, NC.
Mark loved his family, motorcycles, his T-bird, traveling by motorcycle and trains, and The Carolinas’ Full Throttle Magazine. He lived life with a zest and will be missed by his family, and the biker community.
There will be a Gathering Of Family & Friends on Friday July 30, 2021 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home, 976 Phillips Ave., High Point, NC 27262. A Celebration Of Life Service will be held at 12:30 pm Saturday July 31, 2021 in the chapel of Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home. Any flower offerings should be sent to the Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home.
