Mark Bradley Elliott, 76, a resident of Archdale, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born May 21, 1945 in Greensboro, the son of Jack and Ellen Carter Elliott.
Mark attended Greensboro Senior High School (Grimsley High School) and Davidson Community College. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 45 years of service. A natural storyteller and athlete with a head for numbers, Mark loved baseball, competing in sports, spicy food, and music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather, William Donald Kellam, and a daughter, Tess Elliott.
Surviving are his wife, Lea Anna Joyce Elliott of the home; a daughter, Ellen Elliott of High Point; a brother, Brad Kellam of Raleigh; granddaughter, Cherish Clemmer; great grandson, Xander Miller; and his mother-in-law, Barbara Joyce Pryor of Reidsville.
Friends may pay their respects and sign Mr. Elliott’s memorial book on Monday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel. There will be a private entombment service for the family held at Guilford Memorial Park Mausoleum.
