Mrs. Margaret Ann Gerock

Mrs. Margaret Ann Roberts Gerock, 78, a resident of Greensboro died Monday morning at the Golden Living Center-Starmount. Mrs. Gerock was born September 8, 1932 in Greensboro, the daughter of Howard Lindsay and Bertha May Smith Roberts. Margaret graduated from Greensboro High School. She was employed for many years with Jefferson Standard Life Insurance Co. and was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed arts and crafts, bowling and playing Bridge with her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Jean A. Moffitt and a brother, Howard E. Roberts.

On July 19, 1958 she was married to Harry Bryan Gerock who survives of the home. Surviving in addition to her husband of the home is one daughter, Patricia R. Atteberry and husband Larry of Charlotte; one sister, Catherine R. Dalche of Greensboro and one granddaughter, Samantha Atteberry.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel with her nephew Steve Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence on Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
