Margaret "Nadine" Brooks

Visitation will occur on Saturday, April 6th from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Advantage Funeral Home, 1900 Vanstory St in Greensboro. Graveside service will occur the same day, 3:00 pm at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, NC.

Nadine was born on September 13th, 1927 in Claiborne County, TN to Charles and Flora Leonard. She was a loving wife, mother, "Mamaw", and friend to all. Above all, her highest calling was serving the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her husband, C. Robert Brooks, her daughter, Susan McCollum, her son, Robert "Bobby" Brooks, and two grandchildren, Anna McCollum and Jonathan McCollum.

She is survived by her son-in-law, Paul McCollum (Jean) of Leeds, UT, her grandchildren, Joseph McCollum (Kelly) of Kingsport, TN, Michael McCollum (Allie) of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Christopher McCollum (Annie) of Millers Creek, NC, Patrick McCollum of Belmont, NC, and Jeremy Brooks of Bakersville, NC, six great-grandchildren, Jake McCollum, Josh McCollum, Jack McCollum, AnnaBeth McCollum, Caleb McCollum and Anna McCollum, and sister Gladys Brandt of Hampton, VA.
