Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, with Dr. Carl Utley officiating. Entombment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park’s Mausoleum.
Born July 7, 1923, in Lynchburg Virginia, to the late William and Mary McLennan, Mrs. Bradley was of the Christian faith. Margaret retired from AT&T after 18 years of employment. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who took an active interest in the lives of her family and enjoyed seeing her grandchildren accomplish their professional goals. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking, traveling, and just spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, James “Ronnie” Bradley; brothers, Charles McLennan, William Patrick McLennan, and Dr. George McLennan; sisters, Mrs. Ann Dixon, Mrs. Virginia Eckel, and Mrs. Edward Clark.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Laura Caldwell Lee and Barbara Caldwell Rogers and her husband Robert, all of Greensboro; grandchildren, Bryan Cole Lee and his wife Karen of Clemmons, Megan Lee Hyler and her husband Josh of Whitsett, Lindsay Michelle Rogers of Jamestown, and Dr. Jason Patrick Rogers and his wife Brett of Winston-Salem; great-granddaughter, Shelbi Weatherman of Clemmons; and sister, Jean McLennan Early of Harrisonburg, Virginia.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm Tuesday, at the funeral home, one hour prior to the funeral service.
