Margaret Creed Arrington

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2010, at Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Margaret was born on November 2, 1930 in Guilford County to the late Henry and Thelma Gaulden Creed.

She worked as a seamtress at Norvell Tent Manufacturing for over twenty-seven years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting and doing cross-stitching.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband Jimmy Arrington; children, Cheryl Smith and husband Bobby of High Point, Chris Arrington and Kim Knight, both of Randleman; sisters, Cynthia Perryman and Sandra Phillips; brothers Donald and James Creed all of Greensboro, and Roger Creed of Pleasant Garden; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Princess.

The family visitation will be from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice Home of High Point, 1803 Westchester Drive High Point, NC or to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
