Louise Powell

Louise Powell, born on September 9, 1940, and embraced by eternity on October 27, 2023, was a remarkable soul whose kindness, generosity, and caring nature touched countless lives. Her warm smile and quick wit were a testament to the joy she brought to those around her.

Louise is survived by her loving husband, Horace Powell, her beloved son Lenwood Powell, her devoted brother, Jimmy Carter, and her dear sister, Violet Satterfield.

Her family invites friends and loved ones to join them in celebrating Louise's remarkable life during a visitation on Monday, October 30th, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel, 515 North Elm Street, Greensboro.

A final farewell and burial service will be held on November 1st at 1:00 PM in Amherst Cemetery in Amherst, VA, where Louise will find her eternal rest.

Louise's legacy of kindness, generosity, and her infectious smile will forever be cherished in our hearts. She touched our lives in ways words cannot fully express, and her memory will continue to brighten our days. May she rest in peace, her spirit forever with us.
