Louise Owen Hill

Louise and her family resided in White Oak, part of the Cone Mill Village. She excelled at many sports including swimming, diving, and basketball there.

Louise retired in 2000 from Guilford County Tax Department.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Elvin, Vernon, and Claude, along with her sisters, Edith and Ruth.

She is survived by daughters, Kathy Bigelow (John) and Karen Tierney (Billy); grandchildren Christopher Bigelow (Lillian), Jennifer Johnson (Cody), and Will Tierney; great-granddaughters Danielle Johnson and Samantha Johnson; and sister, Lois Owen Craven and many loving nieces and nephews.

A service will be held Tuesday, August 6, at 2:00 p.m. at the mausoleum in Westminster Gardens, 3601 Whitehurst Road, Greensboro, NC.
