Lorynn "Tootsie" Adderholdt Pinson

Tootsie was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina, on April 14, 1930, the daughter of Nathan and Mary Best Crocker.

In addition to her parents, Tootsie was preceded in death by her husbands, Marvin Pinson, Jr., and Charles Adderholdt, as well as her son, Edward Adderholdt.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Alice Engel (Glenn) and Rene Cone (Tom), all of Greensboro; son, Ross Adderholdt of Chapel Hill; grandchildren, Brad Cone (Joan), Daniel Cone (Katie), Anna Cone; Katherine, Matthew, Edward and Emma Engel; great grandchildren, Max, Milo, Charlie and Ellie Cone; along with David and Bibby Pinson.

A special thanks goes out to the nursing and rehabilitative staff at Well Spring for their exceptional care.

A memorial service will be held at Well Spring’s Florence Phillip Hall on Thursday, June 29, 2023, 10:00 a.m., with a reception to follow.

The family asks with gratitude that, in lieu of flowers, memorials in Tootsie’s name be made to the Barbara Adams Blessing Fund and the George Galvin Scholarship Fund, 4100 Well Spring Drive, Greensboro, NC 27410.
